I Could Be Meaner - Acrylic and Metal Necklace

Unlike my other pieces, this one is more about mental health and just plain fun in a time where it's all on fire anyway! My middle school-aged niece was casually talking about school and friends, and just blurted out, "They should be grateful, I could be meaner!" and it really stuck with me.

Now it's a necklace.

This is part of our Acrylic and Metal series, where we explore simple shapes and fonts to create fun and bold pieces that you can wear everyday!

Each pendant is made from laser cut acrylic and stainless steel. The acrylic has been engraved, and then the engraving was filled with permanent paint.
The stainless steel pendant heart frame is nice and thick (and has a little weight to it), measures 2" long, and is strung on an 18" no-fadelaser-cut stainless steel chain.
