The Fabric + Plastic Necklace is one of those pieces that I have been messing with for years. I made the bezel design years ago, but didn't know exactly how I wanted to use them. Now I fill them all of my favorite fabrics, and sometimes tiny patchwork like shown here.
The original plastic bezel was 3D printed from a design I came up with. I then made a mold of it and cast a whole bunch of opaque and/or glittery replicas. It is one solid piece, which encases the fabric, so there is never any worry about fraying or the fabric coming loose.
It currently comes in two sizes, small and x-small, with more on the way.
Major Plus: The pigment used on this specific piece is UV Sensitive, so the neon pink parts will glow super bright in sunlight or under a black light.
Small Bezel is 1" wide, and with the fabric piece inserted it is 1/4" thick. The piece is then hung on an 18" silver plated chain with matching clasp.
To clean just gently and quickly run under water and let air dry. Do not submerge, otherwise the water could seep in to the bezel through the fabric and get trapped there.
Custom necklace options will be available soon, just keep an eye on our blog.
